I always thought I’d probably do my own flowers for my wedding, but planning the logistics from across the country and diving into designing the arrangements just two days before the big day made it all the more memorable. Join me on the journey below!
Some behind the scenes planning and visual references for design
The big order. I placed the order in Los Angeles in July, and picked up the flowers up at the cargo airport in Philadelphia on 8/20.
Two long days of work.
My new friend, Joyce, who let me rent her flower studio in Philadelphia. I prepped and designed in her studio, and she did the day of flower delivery, installs, and strike. I wouldn't have been able to pull this off without her help.
The wedding day execution:
1- bridal bouquet
4- bridesmaids bouquets
8- boutonnières
24- aisle markers
12- reception tables
7- seating chart trays
30- bud vases
12- install pieces for the chuppah install
and 1 set of hands! (I designed every single piece single handedly.)
